Organ Mood

Montreal

Inspired by their performances and immersive installations, Organ Mood offers the spectator a patchwork of light projections on the grain silo which is visible from the highway or, from a closer viewpoint at Sainte-Eulalie. The optical effects of this projection can refer to experimental cinema or the composition a musical piece.

Christophe and Mathieu Jacques formed Organ Mood in 2008 with the idea of totally transforming the role of the audience. Equipped with analog synthesizers, overhead projectors and instruments of their own, the two artists hope to create more of an interactive relationship with the public, even inviting them to manipulate their equipment. Each participant can therefore explore the musical energy from the duo their way and have a personal experience.
